I think it looks pretty good. If there would be a fight in the room, there wouldn't be much useful cover, but other than that, it's decorated well enough.
I'd also change the color of the lights just slightly, a bit more closer to the red shades. Right now, it looks a bit greenish.

I was going for greenish because it was going to be a sewer, but I can change it to red-der.

I really like it, however i think the shadows are really dark, try adding a dark blue light under the other lights with a bigger intensity range, I find that this keeps my levels dark but also allows the actual level to be seen.

Seems like everything's off to the sides, making it feel too empty. I mean, every room has a purpose, and most have stuff in it, even when disaster strikes. When it does, things don't vanish. Throw some garbage around in the middle of the room.
There's a website that has a lot more, if you're wanting some inspiration.

I put some papers on the floor, but they make big black spots :(

also, people packed up everything they can before leaving chernobyl, so I'm guessing a lot of the places were, in fact, empty. I kind of kept everything in the room people WOULDNT pack, things like pallets, wood boards, sheet metal, and barrels.

But if you look, alot of stuff is lying around. A nuclear reactor just went into meltdown, you're not gonna pack, you're gonna run like hell...

I'd scatter more vegetation, that's quite an interesting theme with Chernobyl in that it went from radiated wasteland to forest in twenty years...

to be honest, the evacuation was quite calm, and the town wasn't evacuated until a day after the meltdown happened. radiation levels were 100x the norm. each person was allowed to pack 1 bag. they were told they'd be returning.

So they wouldn't have packed their things or tidied them, they'd've left them scattered and sorted them when they came back. You gotta think of the backstory of each room, what was it, what happened here, etc, etc...

I do, and full looking rooms simply give a lived in feel, those with little to nothing in them however, feel abandoned.

Looks great Bugsy. Very moody pieces, and you captured the derelict feeling, great work.

I love level design, if only FPSC was more reliable when building. If FPSC claims I can build 50 large scale levels, than I expect to, with no problem on my 1337 mash1n3, to be able to build 50 large scale levels with an acceptable amount of detail. see the pics in this thread for my definition of acceptable amounts of detail.

The latest and the first screens are teh awesomest! I would propably like some little carbage (like the stuff in teh Free Model Pack[official one]) on teh g“round. Nothing big, just something erally small.
