Seeing as noone has posted in this forum I thought I would post a little info I found out about this program.

Unity is a multiplatform game development tool, designed from the start to ease creation. A fully integrated professional application, Unity just happens to contain the most powerful engine this side of a million dollars.(copied from unity homepage)

List of Features:
  1. Fully Integrated Editor
  2. Advanced Physics System
  3. Networking
  4. Terrains
  5. Shaders
  6. Scripting
  7. Iphone and Wii Publishing
  8. Asset Importing
  9. Shadow and Lighting effects
And other just go here: http://unity3d.com/unity/features/

Here is a Gallery of some of the work done with Unity 3d: http://unity3d.com/gallery/

I plan on checking out the demo game which can be found here: http://unity3d.com/gallery/live-demos/avert-fate

Great idea for a thread, OutdoorGamer. It'll be a nice source for aspiring developers on the boards who are clueless about which engine they should use.

Thanks for the information, OutdoorGamer. I might look into Unity, as my laptop can't handle UDK, and I don't have my main computer on all that much for it.
