Diffuses are the standard colour texture, if I didn't have them, it'd be a grey blob... :P

Specular textures are also unnecessary, I found out 90% of the standard UT3 materials use the diffuse to derive a specular, (after some mathematical tweaks). The upshot? Much less memory in the final package, and a fair bit less memory consumption at runtime, since it's not referencing so many textures...

Normal maps are an issue. High quality normal map generators are a rare commodity sadly, and free ones are practically extinct.

Thanks. This project's gonna be sort of amalgamated if things go well into another bigger, sweeter (and hopefully) funner project, for me and the player. More info when I finish my current projects though.
